Sunday Too Far Away - 4 September, 6pm-10pm
Feature Film Jack Thompson stars as Foley, a gun shearer, in this exuberant comedy-drama set almost entirely in an isolated sheep station in South Australia.
Breaker Morant - 5 September, 6pm-10pm
Feature Film In the Boer War in South Africa in 1901, three Australian 'irregular’ soldiers are tried by a British military court for the murder of 12 prisoners and a German missionary.
The Sum of Us - 6 September, 6pm-10pm
Feature Film The Sum of Us gives us Jack Thompson as Harry, a likeable working-class bloke from Balmain, and Russell Crowe as his son, Jeff, a plumber who’s “cheerful” (Harry can’t stand the word “gay”).
