Food and love are the ingredients of a charming comic drama about a woman with no memory who starts a new life as a cook at a run-down seaside tavern.
When gruff owner Roula gives oddball Anna a job at his greasy spoon café he tells her not to broaden the fried food menu because “who needs a salad here?” It’s that kind of place. A few days later Anna’s whipping up mouth-watering meals and Roula’s telling his regulars “God sent her”. But who is Anna, and why does her food have such a powerful emotional effect on diners? And what about Kyriakos, a lovely old geezer who turns up out of nowhere and starts painting the joint?
